ERP Sales Module
Introduction
The ERP Sales Module streamlines sales operations by managing pre-sales and sales including exports sales. The role of Sales module starts with recording of Pre-sales activities like maintaining prospect details, competitor details, and business partner/sales executive targets etc. It can schedule daily activities of sales executive. It also empowers the sales department to records details of market surveys carried out by marketing executives. ERP Sales Module maintains information about domestic and overseas customers and dealers, and their dispatch locations. You can also maintain multiple rates for different customers on basis of the priority.
ERP Sales Modules starts with receiving of purchase enquiries from prospects and dealers. Sales Executives can generate Sales Quotation with prices and conditions for sale. One can also schedule the sending of samples to customers, dealers etc. After Purchase Order from a customer is received, Sales module generates a Sales Order for the ordered items. The ERP Sales process is completely mapped and integrated with other ERP Modules.
Thereafter on basis of the status of the inventory, either the information is sent to Logistics for shipping the product or a production advice is generated for the Production Department.
ERP Sales Module and Process
- ERP Sales Module streamlines the process of Stock Transfer for transfer of products between different company locations. Transfer of products can take place from a parent company to its subsidiary company.
- ERSP Sales Process Forecasting allows you to record projected as well as forecasted sales volume of different items.
- Export option handles overseas sales. Information related to export such as Quota details and Agent details are recorded. Proforma Invoice is generated in case of export, based on which a Letter of Credit is prepared. Commercial Invoice captures details of Packing, Intimation for inspection, Intimation for insurance, Duty Cess, Shipment details, Shipment Advice and Letter to Bank. ERP Sales Modules handles generation of important Export Documents, viz., Proforma Invoice, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Intimation for Inspection, Intimation for Insurance, Shipment Detail, Shipment Advice, Certificate of Origin and Letter to Bank.
- ERP Sales Modules option takes care of all activities related to sales. Following are some of the sub-heads for these activities: Enquiry, Quotation, Order, Production Advice, Despatch Advice, Invoice (Domestic), Stock Transfer, Survey and Forecast.
- ERP Sales Process Export option takes care of all activities related to exports. Following are some of the sub-heads for these activities: Order/Proforma Invoice, Order Amendment, Order Scheduling, Packing List and Commercial Invoice.
- Sales (Services) option takes care of all activities related to sale of services.
- SFA option takes care of pre-sales activities that involve maintaining prospect details, region-wise competitor details and business partner/sales executive targets. Scheduling of daily activities of sales executive and expense claim of sales executives can also be done.
- Reports option helps you to generate various reports in order to track the functioning of Sales department.
- Export Documents option generates various documents related to exports; viz., Proforma Invoice, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Intimation for Inspection, Intimation for Insurance, Shipment Detail, Shipment Advice, Certificate of Origin and Letter to Bank.
- MIS option allows various kinds of analysis that are helpful in taking decisions related to different aspects of sales.
- Listings option allows you to generate various reports for the Master data defined in Definitions.
- In Definitions option, all the Master data used in Sales Module is defined. You can add, modify or view the details of Customers/Dealers, Products, export-related information, etc.
- Email option allows exchange of information amongst the ERP users.
- Offline Reports option allows you to view or delete the offline reports.
